The World After Islam

Remains of a destroyed mosque: A portent of the future

Though Islam's causing a lot of serious trouble across the planet, biblical prophecy reveals that another religion is going to dominate the world in the days directly preceding the return of Jesus Christ.

In fact, there are few prophetic scriptures in the Bible that even hint of Islam. One of them was this caveat that Christ issued shortly before He was crucified: "...in fact, the time is coming when anyone who kills you will think they are offering a service to God." (John 16:2) Many Muslims believe they are offering a service to Allah by murdering infidels, of which Jews and Christians are considered among the worst.

In the Old Testament, we find God's declaration of judgment upon the many nations that persecuted Israel and claimed that land for their own.

For example, here are God's own words spoken to the prophet Ezekiel in the 6th century B.C.: "In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made my land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.’ Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations. Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn." (Ezekiel 36:5-7)

Ancient Edom is now Jordan, a nation that was created as Transjordan in 1922 by the League of Nations and later became known as Jordan in 1946. After the United Nations declared Israel a sovereign nation in 1948, Jordan was designated as a homeland for Arabs, Egyptians, Turks, Persians, Bedouins, Assyrians etc. who didn't want to live in the Jewish nation.

Of course, for political reasons, many of those people later began identifying as Palestinians and claimed that Israel stole their land. Though that land had been known as Palestine for over 1,800 years, it was given that name by Roman Emperor Hadrian in 130 A.D. when he voided Israel as a nation after his army crushed the Bar Kochba rebellion that sought to win Israel's independence from Rome.

Thus, Palestine was created by the ancient Roman Empire. Modern "Palestine" was the creation of arch-terrorist Yasser Arafat, himself an Egyptian, and the Soviet Union that wanted to evict the Jewish nation from the Middle East because it was politically tethered to the United States. Arafat wanted to destroy Israel because as a Muslim, he considered the Jewish nation to be an abomination in the midst of Islamic countries.

However, Islam rather than Israel has no future in the world. What will spell the end of Islam? Terror attacks such as the recent one in Paris that killed over 100 people, and the bombing of a Russian jetliner over Egypt on October 31 that killed 224 people.

The world is finally going to realize that either Islam goes, or the rest of the free world will go. Though political leaders such as Barack Obama, French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister David Cameron steadfastly refuse to acknowledge that Islam is a violent religion that encourages terrorism, leaders such as Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping know otherwise. And they don't want Islam.

And as nations such as China, Russia, India and South Korea continue to grow and strengthen, they'll begin to use force to drive Islam out of their countries and the eastern world. Islam will then settle in the west until the rising eastern powers take control of the west and eradicate Islam.

What will be the global religion after Islam? It will be a counterfeit form of Christianity that will eventually lead to the dreaded Antichrist. And just how will it spread across the world? Through the supernatural. The apostle Paul revealed this: "The coming of the lawless one (Antichrist) will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders, and in every sort of evil that deceives those who are perishing." (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10)

Christ warned: "For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time." (Matthew 24:24-25)

Where will this global religion be centered? It will be located in Rome. (Revelation 17:9) But how can we be sure of that? The apostle John, who recorded the Revelation in about 90 A.D. was given an allegorical vision of a garishly dressed harlot that sat atop a scarlet beast with seven heads and 10 horns. The beast represents the coming global government that will feature 10 regions ruled by seven kings who'll answer to a supreme world ruler, the Antichrist.

And the mysterious woman who rides the beast? John described her location as a city surrounded by seven hills. Only two cities fit that description; Rio de Janeiro that's located in Brazil and Rome that's located in Italy. The Vatican is located in Rome and is the world headquarters of the Roman Catholic Church. When John recorded the Revelation, the Catholic Church didn't exist and wouldn't come into existence for another 250 years.

Is that a coincidence? No, that's prophetic. And that's the global religion that's coming. It will feature a partnership of government and religion with the Antichrist as its leader. If you thought Islam was bad, then you'd better hope you're not around when this government-religion assumes power.
