Beware of false messiahs

This is one of those blog postings you write when you're all caught up with everything. And so, I've decided to offer my opinions on some topics that I've been asked about recently.

On the U.S. presidential campaign: The American political process stinks at the national level. It's utterly corrupt and controlled by Big Money. I really don't care who gets elected because we always end up getting the same thing. Before Barack Obama, we had George W. Bush who put the government on steroids and blew up the national debt. Remember TARP? (Troubled Asset Relief Program) That was a Bush program. When you compare Obama to Bush, the only real difference is that Obama prefers to use proxies to fight his wars (leading from behind) while Bush used the U.S. military. The impeccable Matt Drudge (drudgereport.com) believes that barring a severe illness or death, Hillary Clinton will become the next president. That wouldn't surprise me.

On Barack Obama's legacy:  When you think of Obama, you have to consider the people who made him possible. That would be David Axelrod, Tony Rezko, (former Chicago Mayor) Richard M. Daley and the corrupt Chicago Democratic Machine. As an Illinois legislator, Barack Obama was a nondescript senator. He had few accomplishments. He was essentially a zero. Suddenly, almost overnight, he became one of the most brilliant leaders in the world. How did that happen? When he ran against Bobby Rush for Congress in the 2000 Illinois Democratic Primary, the streetwise Rush destroyed Obama by portraying him as an uppity n****r and a carpetbagger (outsider) who talked down to the common people. Rush's tactics worked and he clobbered Obama in that primary. What did Obama do? He got schooled in Chicago's African-American culture by learning the language and moves of the street. Suddenly, he started talking and acting like one of the locals instead of the arrogant, Ivy League educated outsider that he had previously been. It certainly worked for him. Why did Obama run for the presidency? I refuse to believe that it was his idea. He was encouraged to run by wealthy leftists and globalists who needed a charismatic con artist to implement their globalist agenda. And Obama was that man.

On the growth of secularism in the west: Secularism is just another metaphor for leftism, liberalism, progressivism, socialism, Marxism, communism etc. Secularism has grown exponentially in the west because of the spiritual vacuum that was created beginning in the 19th century when the Christian church stopped contending for the faith. The church lost the culture and the godless left took over. The left now controls all aspects of western culture from education, the media, the entertainment industry, art and politics. As evil as the left is, they're diligent. Had the church been as diligent in contending for the faith and keeping the Gospel relevant to the world, we wouldn't have all the problems that we're seeing today.

On the difference between secularism and Judeo-Christianity:  Secularism-leftism etc. is a total inversion of the Judeo-Christian worldview. While the Bible declares that all human beings are born with a sinful nature (Romans 3:23), secularism teaches that everyone is born basically good. Thus, according to the secular worldview, people do bad things when they become corrupted by the surrounding environment. That doesn't make any sense. If everyone is born virtuous, then who corrupted the environment? And why? Furthermore, leftists see tyrants such as Stalin, Mao, Hitler, Castro, al Qaeda, ISIS etc. not as villains, but rather as victims who fight back against their oppressors (conservatives, Jews, Christians, capitalists, white Europeans etc.). That's why the left embraces monstrous dictators and terror groups. And that's why Obama steadfastly refuses to call out Islamic terrorism. In his mind, the jihadists are merely fighting back against white Christian imperialism and Israel's presence ("occupation") in the Middle East.

On the future of Islam: I truly believe that Islam's days in the world are numbered. Why do I believe that? Because the emerging nations in the eastern world--China, Russia, India, South Korea--don't want Islam. They understand how dangerous Islam is. It's not a religion of peace and it's never been. It's an historically violent religion that's extremely intolerant of all other faiths. Contrary to the bull that's being spread throughout the west by leftists and Islamists, Islam hasn't been hijacked by a few "extremist radicals." The jihadists who commit mayhem and murder in the name of their religion do so in obedience to what their religion teaches, rather than in opposition to what it teaches. I've covered that at length, and anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of Islam understands that religion's violent theology. 

On the worst type of sin: All sin is bad and separates us from the Holy God we were created to have fellowship with. But the worst sort of sin is sexual immorality. Why? The apostle Paul explained it: "Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body. Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies." (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) Sexual sin encompasses fornication, adultery, incest, pedophilia, bestiality, homosexuality and lesbianism. Jesus Christ also explained that people who divorce and remarry for any reason other than unfaithfulness (infidelity) commit adultery. (Matthew 5:32)  From my experience, bad things tend to happen to people who are sexually immoral. And if you die in that sin--even if you claim to be a Christian--you'll be condemned to hell. So take my advice and get out of that sin--immediately!

Christmas came early this year for leftists when Robert Lewis Dear, an oddball loner from North Carolina, shot up a Planned Parenthood Clinic located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Dear killed three people including a police officer before he finally surrendered.

Why was Dear's shooting rampage a gift to leftists? Because it provided them with valuable ammunition in their ideological war against conservative Christians. Leftists hate Christians, especially the conservative type, and they consider them more dangerous than Islamic terrorists who are committing murder and mayhem all over the planet.

Whether Dear claims to be a Christian or not is irrelevant. For leftists, he fits their stereotype of the typical conservative Christian; brutish, crude, stupid, violent, backwards and uneducated. Dear's the type of guy that Barack Obama had in mind during the 2008 presidential campaign when Obama maligned conservative Christians as ignorant bible-believers who cling to their guns and religion during difficult times.

That wasn't a slip of the tongue. That's how Obama feels about conservatives and he's done nothing to dispel that position since he's been in the White House. Conservative Christians have been the frequent targets of his wrath. If you doubt that, then you've already forgotten about the IRS scandal.

Why did Dear shoot up the Colorado Springs abortion clinic? He told the police that he was incensed about Planned Parenthood's trafficking of the body parts of aborted babies. He had a right to be incensed about that because that's repugnant. In fact, that's even worse than repugnant--it's evil.

However, Dear had absolutely no right to do what he did. Maybe he's a nut. But more likely, he's probably someone who knows nothing about Christianity and merely uses it as an excuse to justify his hatred of godless secularists. And that's dead wrong. Because all he did was provide leftists with an excuse to find moral equivalence between conservative Christians and Islamic terrorists.

Since leftists control the popular culture in America, they'll use the media to portray Dear as your typical Christian. And while Islamic terrorists commit murder, rape and violence throughout the world, the media will paint conservative Christianity as just another "strain" of terrorism. 

That's how Obama defines jihadists who commit murder in the name of Allah. He calls them a strain that perverts the true peaceful message of Islam. Anyone who truly knows Islam understands that it isn't a peaceful religion. Nor has it ever been. It's holy book the Quran contains over 100 war verses that encourage Muslims to conquer the world via the sword. And murder has historically been one of Islam's proselytizing tools.

There is no moral equivalence between Islam and Christianity. When Muslims commit violence in the name of their religion, they're being obedient to what Muhammad taught. When Christians commit violence in the name of their faith, they're being disobedient to what Jesus Christ taught. 

Here's what Christ told Peter after Peter planned to fight off a crowd sent by the rabbis to arrest Jesus: "Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him, "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels? But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?" (Matthew 26:52-54)

And here's what Christ told His disciples concerning those who reject the Gospel: "If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet. Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town." (Matthew 10:14-15)

Christ never told His followers to murder those who refuse the Gospel. He never told them to cut off the hands, feet and heads of those who reject Christianity. He never told them to kidnap non-Christian women and rape them and sell them off as sex slaves to other Christians. And He never told them to go throughout the world and commit violence against those who resist the Gospel. 

That's what Islam teaches. And it doesn't matter if 95 percent of the Quran contains peaceful scriptures. As long as the Quran contains scriptures that encourage murder and mayhem as a means to spread Islam, it stands alone as a violent religion that has no equal.

Christian Causes and Islamic Effects

Islam: Growing quickly in America

Where does Islam enjoy its greatest growth? In areas where a spiritual vacuum's been created because of the declining influence of Judeo-Christianity.

And those areas are Western Europe and North America. When the Christian church has been strong, those areas have withstood the onslaught of deception from false religions and pagan creeds. But when the church has been weak--as it currently is--then anything goes. And usually what goes is Christianity's influence.

What happened to the church? The church forgot that it was commissioned by Jesus Christ to call people out of the world and into God's kingdom through the gospel. Instead, the church foolishly tried reforming the world and subsequently lost its power. Sadly, there's not much difference today between the world and the church.

Nearly 2,000 years ago, the apostle Jude warned the early church to either "contend for the faith" (Jude 1:3) or risk losing the faith to deceivers and false teachers who would come in and pervert the gospel. In what way? By redefining Christianity as just one of many paths to God.

The church heeded Jude's words until about the late 18th century when ecumenicism, religiosity and liturgical rot began to destroy the church from within. The church lost its power and along with that, its faith. And once the faith began to wane, the faithful began to leave the church in droves.

In his second of two letters he wrote to the early church in Corinth, Paul warned the Corinthians never to rely on human power rather than the Holy Spirit to spread the gospel: "For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)

One of the pretensions that has set itself up against the knowledge of God is Islam. It's holy book the Koran contains numerous historical inaccuracies and contradictions concerning God, the creation of the physical universe, Abraham, Moses, Mary, Jesus etc. And yet despite that, Islam continues to expand and flourish in the western world.

But why? If Islam is a false religion that can easily be proven so, then why does it flourish? Because the Christian church refuses to confront Islam. And also because Islam provides a counterfeit path to redemption and heaven. Those who believe Islam will bring them eternal life will get a surprise when they enter eternity. Islam then, provides an effective weapon for the devil and his fallen angels in preventing the salvation of human beings.

Let the apostle Paul; explain it: "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms." (Ephesians 6:10-12) 

Like all false religions, Islam is demonically inspired and empowered. It not only serves up spiritual deception but it provides a tool for Satan to persecute Christians and Jews. And Islam only flourishes because the Christian church failed to contend for the faith and utilize the power of the Holy Spirit to demolish Islam's theology. 

Islam isn't divinely inspired. It's a combination of perverted biblical stories and Arabian myths. And anyone who possesses even a rudimentary knowledge of history should be able to figure that out after they've read the Koran.

How fast is Islam growing in America? Let tellmeaboutislam.com explain it: "There are now as many as 7 million Muslims in the United States, half of them American-born. In recent years, Americans of African, European, Southeast Asian, Latin American and American Indian descent have left their parents' spiritual paths to follow Islam, a religion that includes more than 1 billion believers from nearly every country."

Here's what those new converts have embraced: Four conflicting accounts of Muhammad's reception of the Koran (Sura 2:97, 15:8, 16:102, 26:192-194, 32:5, 53:2-18, 70:4, 81:19-24), two conflicting accounts of God's creation of the physical universe (Sura 7:51, 41:9-12) and the incredible claim that Christ's mother Mary was the sister of Moses (Sura 19:28).

There are many more contradictions and historical mistakes in the Koran. And contrary to the popular belief that Islam is a colorless religion unlike Christianity that's considered the "white man's religion," Muhammad was a racist. He taught that on Judgment Day, only whites will be redeemed while blacks will be condemned to hell. (Sura 3:106-107)

Had the Christian church pointed these things out, Islam never would've gained any traction in the west. But the church failed to do so. And now, look what's happening. As the Bible clearly states, you reap what you sow. (Galatians 6:7)

The Agenda Behind the Agenda

Occasionally, I'm asked why I don't write more often about homosexuality and its increasing acceptance into society as a normal lifestyle. Criticizing the homosexual lifestyle is an act of futility because unless you're aware of what's really driving the LGBT Movement, you're just wasting your time.

Why is that? Doesn't the Bible condemn homosexuality? Yes it does. However, the Bible also condemns a host of other behaviors besides homosexuality, so merely focusing on the gay lifestyle is a zero-sum game.

The Bible also condemns idolatry, fornication, greed, witchcraft, murder etc. Let the apostle Paul explain it: "Do you not know that evildoers will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral (fornicators) nor idolaters nor adulterers nor men who have sex with men nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And that is what some of you were. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God." (1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

Secondly, gay activists are fond of provoking Christians into condemning their lifestyle so they can portray them as ignorant bigots and raging racists. The solution to the provocation is to convey Christ's love for everyone and not allow yourself to be drawn into useless arguments. As Paul wrote, there are a litany of sins that will condemn you in eternity unless you repent of them in the name of Christ.

I alluded to a hidden agenda behind the LGBT Movement. What's that agenda? The LGBT Movement is one of the front agendas for the global environmental movement that seeks to radically lower the earth's population numbers. Radical environmentalists claim that the earth's population is producing an overabundance of carbon dioxide, resulting in global warming-climate change that threatens the planet.

But that doesn't make any sense. How could the gay rights-homosexual agenda possibly be related to the environmental movement? Because gays can't procreate unless they choose surrogates. Therefore, the more people who can be enticed into the gay lifestyle means less children being born into the world.

And in order to attract more people into the gay lifestyle, all opposition to that lifestyle must be eliminated. Who have historically been the most vociferous opponents of homosexuality? Fundamental Christians.

Therefore, gay activists have targeted fundamentalists for extreme abuse because the Bible condemns the homosexual lifestyle. Gay activists want to silence all opposition to their lifestyle by encouraging legislators to pass laws that would make it a hate crime to criticize the homosexual lifestyle.

Doesn't Islam condemn homosexuality? Yes it does. Aren't gays persecuted throughout the Muslim world? Yes they are. In fact, homosexuality can bring the death penalty in nations such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Pakistan and Yemen.

So why haven't the big gay enforcers gone after the Muslim world for its intolerance of homosexuality? Because Muslims tend to fight back against their adversaries. And with a vengeance.

Certainly, the gay agenda is just one of several means that globalists are using to discourage population growth. And make no mistake about it; promoting and expanding the gay agenda is critical to the globalist agenda of reducing the world's population numbers.

If you don't believe that, then look at the money that's being donated to LGBT organizations to promote the gay lifestyle. In 2013 LGBT groups received $129,112,119 in grant money from 331 corporations, compared to 2004 when these groups received $48,772,174.

The largest contributors to LGBT groups in 2013 included the Arcus Foundation ($16.8 million); Ford Foundation ($15.3 million) and the Gill Foundation ($8.2 million). Forty percent of that funding was allocated to promote gay civil rights and 24 percent was allocated to indoctrinate children and adolescents into the gay lifestyle. https://www.lgbtfunders.org

Several years ago, gay strategists decided to hitch their wagon to the Civil Rights Movement to portray homosexuals in the same light as blacks who suffered under Jim Crow. Though that was ludicrous and it angered many blacks who saw through that canard, it worked. Gay activists successfully convinced the world that gays were a victim class that needed to be protected by the law from marauding bible-believing goons.

If the Christian church in the western world wants to regain the influence over the culture that it lost many years ago because it stopped contending for the faith, then it needs to wake up and understand what's really going on. There's an old proverb that teaches that in order to kill the snake, you have to cut off its head.

The head of the snake isn't radical homosexuality; it's an international movement orchestrated and funded by powerful globalists that's utilizing many different means--including legitimizing the homosexual lifestyle--to move the world toward a global government that would possess the absolute power to decide who lives and who doesn't on planet earth.

The way to defeat that movement is to expose it. But how do you expose it? By following the money from organizations such as the UN, the Trilateral Commission, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Ford Foundation and the Club of Rome to the various LGBT groups for the purpose of promoting the gay lifestyle.

That's how you expose it. But getting into arguments and debates about the Bible's condemnation about homosexuality won't get it done. You have to kill the snake. And you have to understand who the snake is.

If you're a born again Christian and you were invited to attend the White House's annual Prayer Breakfast, then why would you go? To break bread with those who not only don't share your faith, but are extremely hostile to it?

And that includes President Barack Obama who's America's biggest phony Christian. Obama frequently identifies himself as a Christian, but no one believes that except the most gullible and deluded folks among us. And, as the 2012 presidential election results revealed, there are a lot of those folks among us.

Obama the "Christian", always seems to have a problem with those who take their Christianity quite a bit more seriously than he does. For someone who believes himself to possess one of the greatest intellects in the universe, Obama seems oblivious to the fact that Christianity is a bible-based faith that commands its followers to live their lives according to its tenets.

For Obama, Christianity is a cultural statement rather than a worldview. As a cultural statement, you attend church according to the tradition of whatever ethnic group you belong to. As a worldview, you attend church to worship God in Jesus Christ and to grow in the knowledge of His word that's revealed in the Bible. 

Obama's cultural Christianity consisted of 20 years in the pews of Chicago's Trinity United Church. For those who've arrived a bit late to the dance, Trinity United was pastored by the incendiary Rev. Jeremiah Wright, an arch-racist who espoused James Cone's separatist Black Liberation Theology. 

Wright is also a close friend of Louis Farrakhan, the spiritual leader of the Nation of Islam, a militant group that blames the social and economic woes of blacks on whites and Jews. Not surprisingly, both men sound quite similar when they speak. 

And so, the worldview of Barack Obama was molded by the worldviews of Jeremiah Wright and Louis Farrakhan. And that worldview was on display once again at the recent Prayer Breakfast where Obama insulted Christians by finding moral equivalence between contemporary Islamic terrorism and the Crusades and Inquisitions that took place during the Middle Ages.

Here's what the Great Intellect said: "Unless we get on our high horse and think this is unique to some other place, remember that during the Crusades and the Inquisition, people committed terrible deeds in the name of Christ. In our home country, slavery and Jim Crow all too often was justified in the name of Christ."

Anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of Islam and Christianity knows that's a terrible analogy because Islam utilizes violence as an essential proselytizing method to spread its influence while Christianity condemns violence. 

Certainly, many people have committed atrocities in the name of Christ. But they did so in opposition to what Christ taught. Here's an example of Christ's teaching on violence: "For all who draw the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52) And here's what He taught regarding peacemakers: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called sons of God." (Matthew 5:9)

Here are two examples of what the Koran teaches in regards to violence: "And kill them (unbelievers) wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers." (Surah 2:191) "The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His apostle and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned." (Surah 5:33)

Why does Obama insult true Christians? Because they're easy targets. They don't fight back by committing atrocities against those who insult their faith. And they aren't cool. They're faithful to their wives; they raise their children properly and they worship Jesus Christ while refusing to worship false deities such as Barack Obama.

Perhaps that's why Obama loathes true Christians. Because they refuse to bow down to him. As Christ so aptly stated: Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted." (Matthew 23:12)

After the recent terror attacks in France that took the lives of 17 people, Islam's apologists inevitably came out and went into damage control.

We were told yet again that the attacks at the Charlie Hebdo offices and at a kosher supermarket in Paris were committed by "radicals" or "takfiris" who have perverted Islam and besmirched its honorable name. 

According to the apologists, these radicals are synonymous with members of the Ku Klux Klan who identify themselves as Christians and promote violence against blacks and Jews in the name of Jesus Christ.

That was the reasoning used by basketball legend Kareem Abdul Jabbar in a recent article he wrote for Time Magazine. President Barack Obama stuck with his usual excuse that those who commit violence in the name of Islam are just a few isolated nuts and radicals. If they are, then they do have a way of getting around.

The radical line has been used over and over again by western pundits--even by some high profile conservatives such as Ben Shapiro--who actually believe that the western world has the resources and resolve to defeat "radical" Islam.

What exactly is radical Islam? Has anyone ever heard the term radical Christianity? Radical Islam is a politically correct term invented by cowards and pansies who are either ignorant of Islam's violent theology or are too afraid to acknowledge it for fear of being persecuted.

There is no such thing as radical Islam. Those who commit mayhem and murder in the name of Islam and Allah are fundamentalists, not radicals.

Radicals are rebels and revolutionaries who follow fascist ideologies in order to impose totalitarian systems of government ruled by despots. And while that indeed sounds like Islam, it isn't because Islam--while totalitarian in nature--promotes violence against unbelievers via the Koran.

Here's how Jabbar attempts to separate Islam from the jihadists who commit violence in Allah's name: Knowing that these terrorist attacks are not about religion, we have to reach a point where we stop bringing Islam into these discussions. I know we aren’t there yet because much of the Western population doesn’t understand the Islamic religion. All they see are brutal beheadings, kidnappings of young girls, bloody massacres of children at schools, and these random shootings. Naturally, they are frightened when they hear the word Muslim or see someone in traditional Muslim clothing. Despite any charitable impulses, they also have to be thinking, “Better safe than sorry”—as they hurry in the opposite direction.

Jabbar is counting on the ignorance of westerners to believe him when he claims that Islam is really a religion of peace. But it isn't. Although the majority of Koranic verses are nonviolent, there are over 100 that are. And those are the verses that encourage Muslims to commit murder and mayhem against those who reject Islam.

Here are some examples: Quran (61:4) - "Surely Allah loves those who fight in His way." 

Quran (47:3-4) - "Those who disbelieve follow falsehood, while those who believe follow the truth from their Lord... So, when you meet (in fight Jihad in Allah's Cause), those who disbelieve smite at their necks till when you have killed and wounded many of them, then bind a bond firmly (on them, i.e. take them as captives)... If it had been Allah's Will, He Himself could certainly have punished them (without you). But (He lets you fight), in order to test you, some with others. But those who are killed in the Way of Allah, He will never let their deeds be lost."  

Quran (33:60-62) - "If the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts is a disease, and the alarmists in the city do not cease, We verily shall urge thee on against them, then they will be your neighbors in it but a little while.  Accursed, they will be seized wherever found and slain with a (fierce) slaughter." 

Those verses are contained in the Koran. That's the book that Jabbar follows. And while he and millions of Muslims across the world surely don't embrace those verses, they're there. And no one can deny that.

And I have a message for those imbeciles who invariably send me emails that condemn Christianity by using the Crusades and Inquisitions as the moral equivalence of Islamic terrorism: Read the Bible's New Testament and see if you can find even a single verse where Christ or His apostles encouraged Christians to use violence to spread Christianity. You won't find any.

Therefore, the Crusades, Inquisitions and the atrocities committed by the Klan were done in opposition to what Christ taught. Christ said this: "For all who draw the sword will die by the sword." (Matthew 26:52)

And He said this: "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God." (Matthew 5:9) 

Islam's dreamweavers can spin their religion as a peaceful faith all they want. But it isn't. And unless those war verses are erased from the Koran, it never will be.
