Another attack against Christians in America |
Was the recent shooting that took place on the campus of Seattle Pacific University the random act of a "mentally ill" person? Or, was it a planned attack against Christians?
The attack took place on June 5 in the foyer of Otto Miller Hall when a 26-year-old man identified as Aaron Ybarra entered the building with a loaded shotgun and opened fire on a group of students, killing one and wounding at least two others before he was subdued by a school monitor.
Who is Ybarra and what's he all about? And why did he decide to shoot up a Christian university?
We don't have those answers yet. But I wouldn't be surprised if Ybarra turns out to be a committed leftist who's bought into the toxic rancor that's been spewed against Christians in America since Barack Obama was elected to the presidency in 2008.
Obama and many members of his corrupt administration don't merely dislike Christians--they loathe them. And Obama's obedient media lackeys have dutifully promoted his destructive propaganda campaign against conservatives and Christians.
For those who still refuse to believe that Obama wants to make life as miserable as he can for Christians, then remember the IRS scandal; Obama's antipathy toward America's war veterans (the VA scandal), the phony war on women, Obamacare's abortion mandate and the American media's relentless trashing of Christians who oppose abortion and gay marriage.
Here's what I recently wrote about Obama and his leftist pals who hate conservatives and Christians: "Actually, those who have become hostile to Christianity in America probably make up a small but very powerful minority. Many of the Christian-haters in America can be found in the academic world, the secular media, entertainment industry and in the Democratic Party. Unfortunately, these people have enormous influence and they use their influence to sway the opinions of those who listen to them. For example, Barack Obama hates Christians, even though he claims to be one. His animus towards Christians is very obvious and it goes back to his childhood. I truly believe that he equates bible-believing Christians with hillbillies, morons, rednecks, the Ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow. And since he's been in the Oval Office, the establishment American media, that have become some of his most loyal stooges, have dutifully carried out his hostility against conservative Christians. I can't ever remember a time in America when Christians were so ridiculed and mocked as they are today. And a lot of that starts with Obama."

Did Ybarra buy into Obama's culture of wrath against conservatives and Christians? We'll have to wait for the answers.
Ybarra's comrades deny that he had any animus toward Christians. They claim that Ybarra merely had a fascination with guns, shooting and death. But isn't it interesting that he chose to carry out his fascination at a small Christian university?
Unlike the phony war against women allegedly being perpetuated by conservatives, there's a real war going on against Christians in America. And that war is being waged from the White House.
And this is prophetic. Two thousand years ago, Jesus Christ warned His followers that in the last days, "you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of me." (Matthew 24:9)
And we're seeing that prophecy being fulfilled in the United States and throughout the entire world. If you don't believe that, then you're either in denial or you're not paying attention.
